Penang Trip~
20th September 2008
Alrighty... After my last paper (Mass Comm) I went back to my room and packed my stuff, preparing to go back to Alor Star.
Of course I brought my desktop back lol. Though there were some stuff I didn't bring. (my monitor and speakers)
On the way back to Alor Star, my parents and I stopped by Penang to do a little shopping. xD So obviously we bought... well, stuff?
I'll just upload a pic or so...

This is the Razer ExactMat... and costed a damning price of RM99. Serious xD My parents were like wtf? for a mouse pad. But hell yeah it felt good moving the mouse with it.

Other than this, I also got an ALI jacket and Philips earphones for the same price ==; yeah I bought 3 items for this price.
My dad went to Perangin too. We got Samsung SyncMaster 943BWX monitor. 19" is much smaller than I thought compared to my 20" monitor. And since it's 8000:1, it's fucking bright O_O; (which... I don't like). The Altec Lansing speakers were alright too but the bass is way stronger than mine... which I don't really like either haha.
Didn't post pictures of these as... my new webcam is sucky for taking photos.
Spent waaaay much on the Penang trip overall.

Can't remember what else...
Bought new shoes... basically being in Alor Star it's either I'm at home or shopping or yum cha.

Games
Since I came back... I have my PS2 yay. I bought three games- Chaos Wars, Soul Calibur III and DDRX.

Soul Calibur III
Okay basically, I suck real bad at fighting games. Don't know why I bought it. Prolly to get my ass kicked but yeah... I really have no idea why. More training I suppose? I like Ivy :3 But I can't control her well aka- I suck ^^

DDRX
New system, impressive I think? I like the new modes like... the story thingy where you'd have to complete 10 stages to unlock another character's storyline. So far I only finished 2 characters since I have other games to play. OMG and best thing IS... *dun dun dunnn* You have a choice of basic or ADVANCED mode. 2 choices *tears of joy* I get to play something harder instead of playing stupidly easy songs to make my way up. And at least it has better and more importantly HARDER songs. In my honest honest opinion, their songs are way too easy to play. Kudos for this new gameplay.

Chaos Wars
Mmm this game is somehow... how do I describe it? Unique? I think that's the only word I can think of right now. Why it's unique? Well... SO FAR there's only 4 original characters for the game- Hyoma, Shizuku, Hayatemaru and Rin. The other characters are from OTHER games. Like Spectral Force, Shadow Hearts, Shinsengumi, Growlanser and many more. (btw, Growlanser = Carmine = OMG LOVE) So we have Uru, Alice, Karen etc for gamers they might actually know who those are lol.
Pretty unique? and there are lots of sidequests for you to do. Ahh not too complicated gameplay though, cause it's a tactical RPG, you don't have to walk around like normal RPGs, just select mission and fight. A game worth trying if you like games like Growlanser, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom etc.

Movies
Alright moving on to movies! I was gonna post this in LJ instead but I'm too lazy so I'll just type it out here.
I watched a few too many, so I'll split it into other posts. One movie for each. Sue me for writing movieS lol.

I'll put my favorite one out of them first.

You can read the details in Wikipedia or other sites. Oh if you can't tolerate the LGBT community... go fuck yourself XD They're all people too. This movie is a pleasing one and really awesome. Quite a realistic storyline. Unlike all the "omg they're gay and they're going to break up and have a horribly bad ending where someone suicides" etc type. It has a happy ending ^^

I adore Piper Perabo and Lena Headey
Bother are so stunningly gorgeous women and amazing actresses. Really I'm not joking when I say this movie is worth watching.

I still need a new phone ==; Maybe Z770i instead of W980i. Dunno~

Yeah it's really just something I'd like to say XD To get it off mah chest.
This is basically just an appreciation post. To tell some people thank you~ It's closely related to my birthday "incident" who some who may know. I won't give the story here so people who know me may ask though I may or may not answer. lol.

September 18th was my birthday xD (Since it's already 4.33am so I said was). But uh day before...
Studying for Accounting was the shit ==; Well on that day 10am I had to wake up cause at 11am Evon was gonna tutor some friends lol. Ah Fat got us Wan Tan Mee XD and... and.... we were looking at Accounting papers for SIX hours dude. *face falls flat on table*

And at midnight... I ate mooncake again lmao. This time with baked beans.

And Accounting exam... totally sucks! First of all it was pretty damn hard. Then what's worse is that I didn't have enough time to finish. And obviously it didn't balance cause I didn't have much time to think about what to do with the accounts. *le sigh* oh well... the exam's over. Hopefully I'll pass.

After the exam, I came back... took a shower and started studying and making notes and from 6pm until 9pm+++ I was finally done. Gosh more than 3 hours straight. Dear purposely came to deliver a cake to me at that time x3 Thank you! haha. By the time I was done, I had to go to Maha Maju already for my yum cha+birthday celebration. Florence couldn't make it so she gave me a gift earlier xD



Jo, Ham Sap, James and Navin were already there by the time I reach. This and that, too lazy to mention everything. Polar Bear came a bit later, then Ah Fat also showed up but only for less than 30 mins cause he had to go back to his study group. Exams for him tomorrow lol. But at least he went ^^

I'm partially disappointed as only one of my classmates showed up, which was Jo. Florence went for a 2nd round with me earlier to "replace" the one she missed earlier. xD One was having food poisoning so I don't really blame her. *sigh* I don't even feel like talking about another 2. Let's just leave it there.
But I mean... you know someone for 14 weeks and it turned out this way. I knew someone for half that period yet it turned out another way. Some things can't be judged by time I guess.

When I was "sending" Florence back to her house together with Irene, Von called lol. Welp, when I got back home, I had quite a nice surprise waiting for me XD



How nice of them ^^ I'm pretty sure my friends in Alor Star wouldn't do anything like this. And there was cake! So... yeah 2 cakes for me lol.

First of all, if you're wondering why is my title so weird... it's cause of the tag I did ==;
Well time to update my stupid blog =]

Well... quite a few events but not that many. At like I forgot what time, probably past 12am so I can say early this morning... I was supposively "tutoring" Evon but we ended up uh... eating mooncakes and bread at that hour ==; So we did something stupid. At first Evon was just eating spicy tuna, then added peanut butter and jelly... then added butter =.= It tasted... pretty damn weird. I know... I tasted it lol. Oh well it wasn't that bad, but really weird. Then we did another stupid thing when eating mooncakes. Behold this post has pictures omg! Alright after that stupidity... we pretty much "studied" until around past 5am I think. And that's pretty much about the study part and my housemates (for now I think lol).

Ahh other than that, I gave my desktop a whole new outfit. (As in the Visual Style of my Windows). After going through like... damn lot of them, I almost made my system go crazy but luckily I managed to get it back working lol. Lesson to be learnt, don't mess with your system ==;

My MSN skin is called Phunk'n - Niveus 1.0.2 which I downloaded from the msg plus' site but it can also be found on deviantArt. And iPhone skin for Winamp. I got it from deviantArt too... basically the whole desktop is found on dA. But my system icons is a theme from icontweaker, a program which you can download ^^. Spent a whole lot of damn time on this thing ==; and not to mention again... I almost fried my system.

As for the Public Speaking exam today... Holy god, I can go and commit Harakiri (which is the most famous type of Seppuku) Click on the word Harakiri for the dummies who wanna know more about it. Why? Cause I went out from the exam hall early... Thinking I finish the damn paper. When I went out I realize... Holy fucking shit I didn't do question 3. Yeah another paper that I fucked up. :D I can say goodbye to my 15 marks... converted I think it should be 7.5%. So my maximum is 42.5/50% for the whole finals. I got 40.25/50% for my coursework. Sooo thinking maybe I'll have mistakes and shit. Hopefully I can still get 70% T.T Oh well... shit happens. Might as well be more careful next time. *le sigh* Accounting on my damn birthday and Mass Communications on Saturday... 2 more subjects to gooo~!

Tonight must yum cha cause it's been too long man... way too long.

12th September, Computer Studies exam ==; Sooooo I think the only phrase to describe it would be... "so fucked up". Mhmm, it is. So we got these "tips" which I think 90% of the people who gotten it would just study according to them, me being part of that 90%, sort of. (I did "look through" some of the other chapters so it wasn't that bad.) But I screwed up Computer Studies. I doubt I'll fail this but still, I fucked up D:

Our yum cha session was with Joanne, ham sap (Shuhada), Raj, Hafiz, Logan, Harpreet, Evon, Yi Ching and I. (==; yeah listing is a damn shitty work). Uh... from the house to the mamak shop (ABC corner), they were crapping about perverted stuff lol XD "money" ==; Wow a lot of information in my brain lol. I still have chocolate and banana muffins here =.=; Anyways, I need to start practicing my digital coloring skills again. I'm lacking it... A LOT. Censorship ==; Yeah censorshiT your ass. This issue has been bothering me for like... a very long time and I have yet to blog about it. Oh oh WARNING, this IS a super-duper rant post. So skip these parts if you don't wanna read through xD Just skip to the part where I titled it "Random Stuff" lol.

As I've said, this has been bothering me for a long long time but I never really... wanted to say something about it until I did my Mass Communications assignment (written one) and I was to do a research on a MALAYSIAN magazine. So... I was gonna do Marie Claire Malaysia but, it was thick and I'm a damn lazy person so I didn't and I chose Galaxie instead. It's interesting, short and spicy =P And I'll type all my rants in more paragraphs for my easy reading ==;

I came across a song I really liked... Katy Perry's song actually titled "I Kissed A Girl" they had the lyrics in there so I went to see. Haha, my God I didn't know what reaction to give but to laugh. They CENSORED the song... HOW you may ask? Well, "I Kissed A Girl" was RENAMED to "I Kissed". For people who has never heard or seen the real song/lyrics might think this IS the song. Well dumbasses(no offence) but you got Punk'd© xD Seriously. Like why I said "heard the song" because well... okay I went to WAIT and LISTEN to the song on radio. Kinda... stupid for my to just sit there and wait for the song to play but ignore that. From what I hear with my very own two ears... the lyrics were "I kissed... and I liked it~ Taste of her cherry chapstick. I kissed... just to try it~ Hope my boyfriend don't mind it." Whereas the original would be like "I kissed a girl and I liked it~ Taste of her cherry chapstick, I kissed a girl just to try it~ Hope my boyfriend don't mind it." It definitely sounds ten times more fluent than an awkward pause there. But still it sounded pretty right... in a way.

I'd laugh everytime I hear that song on the radio ==; then complain about the censorship. I mean WHAT's wrong with that? I kissed a girl? The song promotes lesbianism? Damn, that's so closed minded. If people wants it, you don't even have to promote it. Shit happens you know? I'm all in for the LGBT community, I think they rock. What else happened?
Phew let's take a break here xD Have fun with some song lyrics... or song.

Well, let's talk about Avril Lavigne. Okay so I don't like her... but that's not the point. She was said to be "too sexy" for Malaysia. WHAT? *le shocked* how is this girl sexy? I mean in what way she's sexy? ==; Dude, get yours eyes checked... Koda Kumi is sexy, Madonna is sexy, Beyonce is sexy. Avril Lavigne is NOT sexy. But in the end they HAD to let her perform or the crowd and fans are gonna bitch about it for a long time. Heh famous artists rather go elsewhere to perform than MALAYSIA. MALAYSIA BOLEHHHH! /sarcasm.

Ahh I've had enough rants for today ==; I can go on about photography and even words. But I'll kill myself.

And yay my blog, I can finally put comment for the posts. Thanks to ChuiLynn :3 Now I'm still too lazy to change the skin, so I'll leave it be. And Genesis is still hot as ever so I won't mind xD

Finals coming pretty damn soon, (day after tomorrow) and I haven't studied AT ALL. No shit... I really didn't. Let's see what I did...

I went out yum cha at 11pm+ then... we finished at around 12 or 1? Cause it was raining too then. On the way back we saw Wei Hong and he was holding a basketball lol. So Leanne went off with him, and we took the basketball (me, Evon and Yi Ching) then of course we went to the court lol. We played basketball in the middle of the night without light ==; So yeah we couldn't really... see anything haha. After that Navin came and we played. Until like... what? past 2am til we went back home. And then we were chatting online etc etc, funny stuff happened. 4am, went out makan (eat). After that we went Westlake, and Leanne, Evon and I were just... chatting? Until 7am in the morning, I was online until 8am. Then slept at 8am until 6pm. Awesome huh? XD

Well die die la exam. *goes back to listening and downloading songs*

Okay I haven't updated this shit in so long xD Why? Cause I went back to Alor Star... and there's a desktop there but the screen broke down. ==;

So basically I spent my 9 days in Alor Star at home. Yup only at home, when going out it's with my folks. I didn't go out with my "friends" at all. Why? Cause so many of them fong fei gei and now I'm still angry so I just stayed at home for the week. Even during my sem break I might not go out >/
Was playing The Urbz, Shinobido etc, PS2 games xD And sleeping, omg sleeping I so miss my bed <3

Oh yeah did I mention... I MISS CREAM PUFFS!
