I Am... Yours
I was talking about Beyoncé's concert for those who may have thought otherwise ==; I had some time today, decided to pop it into my PS3 and play the whole thing XD Took some occasional photos too.
This is the starting. She came in singing "Hello" and walked towards the stage
Beyoncé performing "Halo"
"Irreplaceable" lol this song was fun, she was getting everyone to sing "to the left, to the left".
Beyoncé doing an unplugged (acoustic version) for "Sweet Dreams". Definitely something new, it sounds great though *-*
Yeah she had the saxophone come in playing the sexy music.
Then my favorite song "If I Were A Boy" Oh no she didn't! Oh yes she DID. *points to pic below* XDD
She stopped singing her songs a little, had a little fun with the audience. Swinging music. Which was then connected to the song "Deja Vu"
Three tap dancers came in and entertained the people while she gets changed backstage.
This is where the concert gets intimate. Beyoncé starts telling her story, of how it all started. Starting from when she was five. Then to the group she was in, then Destiny's Child.
Performing "Say My Name"
The theme for Charlie's Angels. "Independent Woman"
"Bootylicious" well that's the song name lol.
Oh man this part was awesome. "Survivor" was damn powerful. Got the audience hyped up.
She was in Austin Powers, that was for 2002. She sang "Work it Out"
Her career was on the top. Then... Beyoncé stated, she found love. (which was Jay-Z if you didn't know)
"Bonnie and Clyde"
"In 2003. I had my first solo album. But when I played it through for my record label, they told me I didn't have one hit on my album. I guess they were kinda right, I had five. 'Dangerously In Love', 'Naughty Girl', 'Me, Myself and I', 'Baby Boy' and 'Crazy In Love'". - Beyoncé
Performing "Crazy in Love"
"Naughty Girl" I loved the lightings xD
Oh please don't tell me you don't know this song from the pictures.
No?
Seriously this gives it all away.
"Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"
Look at that damn crowd lol, this song was THE perfect ending.
And that was how she got to what she is today.
Behind the scenes. She wanted strings on stages for the unplugged, which I thought was brilliant. It was so beautiful I was about to cry T.T
I don't really buy American concert DVDs but this one is definitely worth it. It's awesome and it gives a totally different feeling from other concerts I've seen. Like she wanted, it was intimate. And the songs, they have a much deeper meaning to them than the catchy chorus or lyrics. The origins of the song, why it was written. Beautiful.
