▶ 30th September
・Cosplay Mania Day 2
・Day 2 wasn't that big of a difference with day 1, I went there with Tai at about 11am since I was still busy 'online' at the hotel haha.
・Originally planned to cosplay but my feet hurt too bad from too much walking on day 1 that I canceled my plan to.
・Met up with Chin cause Tai was gonna meet up with Nouel to go on their date

・We walked around the place cause I spent my whole time inside Hall 5 on day 1 watching performances that I didn't manage to check out any booths.
・Saw Superman lol.
・Went in Hall 5 early again cause I didn't want to miss out on getting a good spot for Reika's stage performance.
・Managed to be at the front row yes!
・Jesuke, Vic and Viospace were there watching too.
・After that we went back out to walk about some more and I got a text from Renny
・We finally meet up! yay
・Soon after Chin and I went back to Hall 5, to watch the group and Torch cosplay competition!
・It was KICKASS! Damn they were so good.
・The winning team for Torch will be representing Philippines to go to Singapore-!
・I went to Makati after the event ended at 9pm+
▶ 1st October
・Slept for an hour and went to NAIA in Manila by cab with Chin to send Reika off. This being said, I didn't know which terminal (there's 3) she would be at, so googled+wild guess we went to the right one after all! Lucky~
・Of course with all of us severely tired and lacking sleep... brain in derp mode activated. Japanese conversation fail LOL.
・But I was happy to have been there, plus there was a slight issue with the ONE staff member, who was unable to speak/understand Japanese that was accompanying her, but I shall not get into that. She was nice, but clueless. So I guess it was a good thing I was there along with Chin.
・After that, Chin's brother picked us up at the airport... and sent us all the way to SM Bacoor! We met up with Nouel there to go to Tai's house.
・Interesting bus ride and we got to walk around the area before reaching Tai's place.
・Then party at night! Cause it was Mel's birthday!!!
・I feel like the photo was taken by a drunk person LOL. but no she wasn't drunk.
・Woke up REALLY early the next day to get the first bus back to Clark, then waited at the airport for hours cause my flight was in the afternoon haha. There's a reason behind my early trip back to Clark anyways.
・Then I boarded-! whee.
・On a side note, I got mistaken as a Korean twice, by Filipinos and even Malaysians. Wry?
Overall I felt like my trip was really tiring but I had fun. Would love to go back there again and explore more. Big thanks to everyone, Tai, Mel, Nouel, Chin, Ren, Reika, the other guests, the awesome cosplayers for making this trip awesome-r than it already is.

Part 2
▶ 29th September
･Cosplay Mania Day 1!!
･Woke up really early as the journey from Cavite to Manila would take awhile.
･Arrived ready to go to Reika's Meet and Greet, but apparently it was delayed from 10am to 11am+.
･Went in the Meet and Greet room tad late with Tai and Mel cause they didn't announce it properly.
･Since we were behind, we waited for our turn to get an autograph and pictures taken with Reika.
･I bought a few items inside, but decided to let Reika sign her Tiger & Bunny Photobook
･Finally it was my turn!! Ah I was so nervous getting to meet her for the first time. All went well other than the fact I sort of blanked out a little bit when speaking to her. I was in cosplay so had to tell her who I was.
The conversation went on in Japanese. I was horrible at it LOL.
「こんにちわ麗華さん、えと…Yuuiです！」（神経質な笑）
"Hello Reika-san, uh it's me Yuui!"
Her reaction. Super adorable! Like in those anime you watch where the girl goes "ああああ！！" (AHHH!!) That happened (lol) The photographer managed to capture that moment where she was diving in for a hug before she went back to her cool character poses. Thank you mr camera person!
We talked a bit on stage when I passed her the gifts I brought from Malaysia then that feeling of stares from below the stage kinda... hit me ahaha. Like the feeling of "who the eff is that girl on stage talking to Reika like that" blah blah. So I just told her quickly she can contact me on Skype/Twitter when we're in Philippines as we can rely on WiFi only ugh. Got a few hugs and flee off the stage.
For some that may or may not know, I do not actually treat Reika as a cosplay idol that I look up to from afar. It's more of a personal friendship type relationship for us, so we were excited to finally meet each other.

･Later I got off it was Tai and Mel's turn.
They asked me to get back on stage again for a group photo! I love all these girls to the max. Mel looking like a boss there.
･Reika requested that whoever wanted to stay after the autograph session can stay. She wanted to play a game with everyone. With games there are prizes! Reika brought 3 of her Regenbogen photobook with her, these aren't on sale at CosMania btw. Only T&B and prints were available.
The game was simple enough, Rock Paper Scissors! Anyone that loses/got the same sign as Reika were required to sit down and the remaining people will keep on playing until there are 3 people left standing.
･There were actually only 2 left standing, which was me and another girl cosplaying Kuroko. She then asked the last few people to compete again amongst themselves and finally we got 3! I felt like the luckiest person in the world to have won this and there were over 100 people playing too.
本当にありがとう麗華さん！
This was my favorite photobook too. She even wrote my name *fangirls*
･Checked in my hotel near SMX - Microtel. Lovely LOVELY hotel btw.
･After that we went for food!! oh god Chin's face in EVERY single picture.
･Chin and I went back and went to the main hall where the rest either went back to rest or home.
･Watched the Solo Cosplay Competition and was astonished!! The cosplayers were amazing! 超びっくり！レイヤーさん達凄い凄い！！！Seriously, I felt like Malaysia is lightyears behind the cosplay scene compared to Philippines, the effort, the details, everything was just so good! I mean look at this!
･After the day ended, I went back to my hotel whereas Chin went back to his brother's place in Makati.

CosplayMania12・Philippines Trip Pt1
Okay my 'short hiatus' wasn't that short after all. Almost 3 months long lol. ごめんなさい！！
I've missed out on a lot of posts, mainly Bon Odori, my graduation exhibition and my birthday. But I won't pick those posts up anymore

I did a short entry about Cosplay Mania on my new blog in Japanese. (note: really short and general, just practicing~)

This post would made into 2 or 3 parts depending on how much I write, but I'll try to keep it much shorter to avoid TOO much text in the post as the pictures are mostly already on Facebook and I kept the albums on public mode so everyone can see it.
▶ 27th September
･My flight on that day was pretty late, my beloved Evon brought me to the LCCT airport.
･The flight was smooth most of the time but there were pretty awesome turbulence in between due to the Typhoon Lawin that was hitting northern parts of Philippines.
･Arrived at Clark International Airport on time at 11:35pm. Met follow Malaysian at the immigration area when getting our passports checked. Was invited to hang out and explore Angeles City's Walking Street! Guess it wouldn't hurt instead of just going back to the hotel, sleep and leave tomorrow morning. He had to catch a flight to Davao whereas I had to go to Manila.
･Walking Street was basically the Red Light District of Clark hahaha. It was definitely an interesting place. Girls*ahem*girls were all over the street seeking customers. The night clubs/bars were so colorful. There were even different themes like Chinese, schoolgirl, cowboy, high society club, or drag queens if that's your taste.
･Speaking of drag queens, I saw one in a purple leotard, with a purple AFRO wig, walking with a bunch of girls dressed in miniskirt yukatas.
･Managed to try sisig there with San Miguel beer. The pork hot dog was yummy too, along with the barbecue by the road!
･Got back to my hotel at 3:30am. Tiring but fun!
▶ 28th September
･Woke up at 7.30am since I had to get back to the airport to go to Manila.
･Got on a Philtranco bus to Manila.
･Tai and Nouel picked me up at Megamall :D Then went back to her house etc.
･Basically hung out at her house the rest of the day.
･We did wig tests and stuff ahaha.
