Lol yesterday night was probably one of the lamest events I've ever been to. Like seriously.

It's for completing some manhood course thingy. Of course it's a church/christian event. So now the graduates are REAL MEN. idk.

Image shows the 'knighting' of the men LOL. Yes they brought in a fake sword and knighted the guy and giving them a certificate. And shouted out "GO BE A MAN!" LOL. It was so lame I couldn't bear to laugh actually.

I didn't wanna go but my dad forced me to = =; so yeah...

It's quickly the end of August now! So I've decided to pick one artist of the month-- Which is Leighton Meester.

Her most prominent role would be Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl. She's the b*tch and Queen Bee that everyone hates in the beginning but turns out to be the most charming and lovable character in the whole series. Her popularity as Blair even beats the ever-popular Serena van der Woodsen.

Other than this role, she played smaller roles in many other series.

But other than acting, this girl sings too!

Most may have heard Cobra Starship -- Good Girls Go Bad. She was featured in the song. Youtube her! She has some pretty awesome songs too.

On a side note, I hate traveling back to Penang since the Puasa month started. The bus stations are always so damn crowded and it'll probably take hours to queue up to get on a bus. Bribing works but it's a waste of money each time. T.T The sadness of not having a car aiyahhh~

OOkay, this post is more about my thoughts on these movies, not really reviews (thus the title). So I'll just comment on a couple movies that I've recently watched, one of them isn't really that new though xD

Lol this movie isn't even out on the big screens yet, but I did have some sources so I've finished watching the movie before it even came out.

First of all, I'm impressed at the movie! Seriously lol, the actors they've found, locations, everything! It's easily recognized as it's pretty much the same from the original movie -Twilight. I might get stoned for this but I think the "Edward" in Vampires Suck looks hotter than R.Patz. lmao. (Note: His name is Edward Sullen) XD Plus the 3 Vampires that's after Bella, lool BEP? And finally they've solved the mystery of why Jacob always takes his clothes off!!

It's really an entertaining movie that keeps you laughing if you've watched Twilight and don't take it seriously (yes I'm talking to you haters). It's just a spoof, and not everyone likes Twilight btw. I don't get the spazzzzzz about it. Maybe I'm a nerd =/

So if you're not a Twi-hard-fan, but have watched the movie, do watch this spoof for a good laugh!

Another comedy film! Yes obviously I love comedies = ='' they're good for our health :D As much as I love these two actors, especially Tina Fey, I couldn't say that this is a good comedy. Somehow, a normal couple getting involved with underground politics and stuff cause they took someone else's table, then almost getting killed.

It's a pretty alright popcorn movie to be watched on the weekend when there's nothing better to do. Some of the lines in the movie was good too.

As I've said in my previous post, I love the movie. The whole thing doesn't have much of a plot, it's more about how Evelyn Salt's process of running away or plans. It won't take toooo long for someone to guess Who Is Salt? when watching the movie. You can probably guess it about halfway through the movie, or three quarters through it to find out who the real villain is.

It's been compared to recent Bond movies lol. And apparently Salt kicked Bond's ass. SALT is action PACKED! and it keeps moving at a rapid pace where there's no room to breathe.

I know this movie has mixed reviews so it's up to the viewer to think whether it's good or it's not. To me, I loved it. Ange is doing what she does best.

Inception

Okay this was the most recent movie I watched. (so it gets the longest post)

Christopher Nolan did a good job in The Dark Knight, so I'm wonder if this would top it, apparently no TO ME. (Note: TO ME). Sure, some people even bragged it to be "THE BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR". Really? What about Avatar? When it came out, people said it's the best movie ever etc etc. I fell asleep within half an hour through Avatar.

But enough about that lol, Inception managed to keep my interest so I watched the whole thing yay. I.am.NOT.a.fan.of.Leonardo. ==" He irked me in the movie... seriously. Maybe that's why I didn't quite like it?

But I LOVED all the other supporting actors! Seriously! I think they're outshone Leonardo in it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt who played Arthur in the movie was really good, I loved his acting and but especially loved his lines and his way of portraying his character. Ellen Page is... well Ellen Page lol! She's good. The guy who played Yusuf in it made me laugh so much, I love him. I am happy to see Ken Watanabe in theaters again too!

As for the storyline, you'd have to watch the whole thing from the start til the end or you'd probably be very very confused in the end. I guessed the old man who was in the beginning of the film before the quarter of the movie ==; Though the ending would keep you thinking. It's a pretty good movie but I wouldn't say it's really really awesome. Worth watching though.

Outfit of the day- I wore a hat, black basic tee and a long skirt. Charlie had a green spaghetti strap and white shorts XD

We got on the bus and got off at Macalister Road, walked around and went to have lunch at "Delicious Penang" lol. Damn we got charged RM2 for a can of ice lemon tea! Plus they didn't give us ice (which they did to the locals). So after that, we continued walking... (we didn't have a plan on where to go!)

Epic incident of the day - We passed by an Indian uncle... a VERY FRIENDLY Indian uncle who was saying "Hello hello!" to us when we were passing by, so I just smiled (courtesy) and he kept asking us "Where you girls from eh?" I pretended like I didn't hear him and TRIED to quickly walk away, BUT guess what? He grabbed my arm LOL. I couldn't run away that way huh =.= So he asked where we're from again. I thought, if I answered a western country, he MIGHT hug us LOL so I said "Singapore" instead, and he grabbed my hand again for a handshake =.= which was forced on I guess. He grabbed Charlie's arm too and shoulder hurrrr. When we were leaving he tapped me on the shoulder again and said "welcome to Malaysia!" lool.

The rest isn't too interesting, we walking around til Gama, then Komtar, then Perangin areas and then went back to our hostel haha.

Went to watch Salt today :3 Fuck it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E. The whole storyline wasn't what I expected in the beginning, keep getting wrong guesses in it LOL. So it was damn worth it. And Ange back in action? It makes even girls swoon.

Bought a hat with Charlie today, will post photos when I actually wear it hohoho.

So we hung around in my room while I got ready and waited for time to pass. Went out nearing 9.30am and planned to go to Old Town near my house, to our dismay they were just opening! Wth =.=; They should be opened at 8.30am!! Konon! Hmph. So we went elsewhere to pass some time and went to the Old Town near her house instead lmao.
