Women of the Month [August]
The year passed by pretty quickly huh o_o it's August now. I've realized that there's been a lot of female leads in films and television lately, and I absolutely LOVE it! Female powah HA!
Here are a few women I respect (and utterly in love with LOL)
Angelina Jolie
What ass kicking female power would be without Ange! She took the world by Tomb Raider, she's better than Bond, no not Bond girl, BOND! And now she's back with another action film - Salt. Weird name but whatever, as long as we get our dose of Ange and all's good.
Sarah Shahi
She'll always be Carmen de la Pica Morales. I liked The L Word, but I LOVED it when Carmen appeared. She was in a series called "Life" where she played Dani Reese, a detective who previously an undercover narcotics agent and now a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. But the show was canceled.
But we'll be able to see her again! Yes a USA network took up a series called Facing Kate, where Sarah got the lead role - Kate Reed, lawyer turned mediator.
Olivia Wilde
Please do not tell me you do not know who Olivia Wilde is! Omg. If you're a fan of 'House M.D' then she's the one who played Dr. Remy Hadley aka Thirteen. Or from The O.C. Hot blond chick known as Alex Kelly that hooked up with Seth and Marissa? xD
Her hotness is acknowledged by other celebs, Megan Fox once said, and I quote "Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands." Me too! XD
Olivia will be in the film Tron Legacy (release date unknown, probably December 2010), and she kicks ass in it! *-*
Piper Perabo
She's as cute as a button :3 I'm not sure if too many would know her. Long time ago, she was in Lost and Delirious. Then she was also in "Imagine Me & You" with Lena Headey. "YOU'RE A WANKER NUMBER NINEEEE!!!" God it was epic.
She's now in a tv series called Covert Affairs, it's pretty new. Annie Walker- CIA. She's able to speak six languages fluently too. Woot talk about awesomeness.
Maggie Q
Heard of Nikita? Well Maggie Q is gonna be playing Nikita!! I can't wait for it to be honest xD More ass kicking coming our way. What could be better than a female assassin lol.
So ya see, we have lots of awesome female lead roles these days. Kudos to that.

PHEW~!
Well some of you may know that my MacBook Pro's screen 'died' on me the 2nd day I was at Cameron. (If you follow my Twitter or Plurk) So after going back I've sent it in for a diagnosis. Rofl I'm making it sound like letting the doctor check what's wrong with my baby.
So anyways I got a call today from one of Switch's engineers and it seems like there was actually NOTHING wrong with it! I know right NOTHING. So how did the screen died? Well apparently he told me that due to shaking/knocking... I never hit my MBP before nor made it fall =.=; the wire connecting the display to the motherboard came off or it was loose. (prolly came off) and after connecting it, the display was working fine again.
This is definitely a huge relief for me. I'm like... "I've spend 4.5k on a laptop and I can't believe it'll die on me within a year!" But seriously, I'll be needing Apple Care Protection Plan soon since my warranty is almost up. Dang it's like RM900. X.x So I'll be collecting my MBP soon. I MISS YOU! xo.

On a side note, I've been spending my holidays being a sloth. Yes those types of lazy apes. XD Lazy, yet I've went out for activities with friends. But other than that I've been staying home and gaming, watching old movies, sleep. eat, and sleep again!

I was pondering whether or not I wanted to write this in the same post. But I didn't wanna spam my page with so many posts so I'll just put it here.
I've been on Twitter a lot lately, just because I'm lazy to keep up with the -too many updates- of Facebook. So I read a lot of Olivia Wilde's tweets since I find it funny and meaningful. This is Olivia's page btw
linkShe mentioned something about the meat industry causing more damage to our environment than cars. And that IS true, it's just that before... I've never really cared? I think. And she has this idea of starting off by baby steps to help our world. Not by asking everyone to turn vegan. But maybe start of by making a day out of your week a meatless day. So I'm up for the idea of Meatless Monday! Which I'll start off right now. Wish me luck xD
